A: "Assault" and "Fortified Formation" will inherit their levels and, along with the newly introduced Defense Formation, become part of the "Formation Technology" system to enhance the combat capabilities of various units. The bonus effects in "Formation Technology" are permanently effective without restrictions, meaning you don't have to set up a corresponding formation to have them active in all battles.
